How Our 6 Step Quality Restoration Process Works

Full-Service Water Removal And Dry Out In Lake Forest

Hiring an expert water removal company in Lake Forest as early as possible is essential, given its important nature in the process of water damage restoration. At Action 1 Restoration, our team will have a better chance of minimizing the secondary damage by responding quickly and getting the process started as early as possible. Your home’s floors, cabinets, furniture, walls and underlying structure will sustain more damage the longer the water is in your home. Our local teams use commercial grade equipment to help speed up the process and help you get your life back on track faster.

Thanks to the air moisture removal equipment and tools we use, our procedures and techniques have been very effective. The type of equipment to be used on each job is dependent on the water temperature, as well as the volume of water in your home. After the water has been removed, to help reduce the moisture in the air, we use large air blowers and dehumidifiers to remove the excess moisture. During this time, we are continually monitoring the levels by using moisture meters and infrared cameras to detect any hidden water.

Here’s a step by step outline of our water removal and dry out process:

  • For starters, the extent of damage is determined by one of our specialists through a thorough on-site inspection of all affected areas.
  • Focused on countering the growth (or spread) of pathogens, mold and mildew, our team of specialists will start the water removal process as soon as possible.
  • Since damp air is also known to foster the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew, any remaining damp air will be dried using fans and dehumidifiers.
  • Any pockets of water that may be hidden from view will be identified using thermal imaging equipment.
  • We measure humidity levels in the air using moisture meters (and similar equipment), once all the rooms have been dried out.

When it comes to flood or water damage, there is more to worry about than just the water you see on the floor. To ensure that no water is left under baseboards or behind walls, our equipment can easily spot hidden pockets of water. At Action 1 Restoration we ensure that our teams and partners are capable of providing the fastest water damage dry out services by equipping them with the best tools for the job.

More About Lake Forest, California

Lake Forest is a city in Orange County, California. The population was 77,264 at the 2010 census.

Lake Forest incorporated as a city upon December 20, 1991. Prior to incorporation, the community had been known as El Toro. Following a vote in 2000, Lake Forest expanded its city limits to tally the master-planned developments of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills. This press forward brought further homes and commercial centers to the northeastern boundary of the city.

Lake Forest has two lakes from which the city gets its name. The lakes are man-made, and condominiums and custom homes ranging from large to little line their shores. Neighborhood associations direct the lakes (Lake 1, known as the Lake Forest Beach and Tennis Club, and Lake 2, the Sun and Sail Club.) Each talent features tennis courts, gyms, basketball courts, barbecue pits, volleyball courts, multiple swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs and club houses for social events.

The "forest" for which the city is then named lies in the area between Ridge Route, Jeronimo, Lake Forest and Serrano roads, and consists mostly of Eucalyptus trees. It is along with man-made, and was created in the first decade of the 1900s behind a local landowner, Dwight Whiting, planted 400 acres (1.6 km2) of Eucalyptus groves in the vicinity of Serrano Creek as portion of a lumber operation intended to draw move ahead to the area. In the late 1960s, the Occidental Petroleum company developed a residential community in and as regards the Eucalyptus groves, which had long before expanded and grown much more dense.
